For the past several years, I have conducted a state-mandated training course for directors of California mutual water companies pursuant to Assembly Bill 54. Given the continued interest in the topic, I will offer two training courses this fall. Because mutual water companies are spread across the state, making travel to a central location impracticable for many directors, the training will be conducted by webinar on the following dates:
- Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 6:00 pm
- Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 6:00 pm
The training will be similar to previous years, updated for new developments in 2014. The cost is $99 per attendee, with a maximum of $199 per company. Wes, do you need to know the exact date our board members will be participating? There will be five of us from RRMWC and individually some may want to wait and commit at the last moment. Thanks. Joan Wells
A company may split which session its board members attend without a problem. Eventually, I will need to who plans to attend each session, as we send a link to the webinar site out to all attendees about 24 hours before each session. But as long as I know that information a few days before the session it is fine. Some companies in the past have had their board members gather at one location, and that is fine as long as you let us know who attends so we can send a completion certificate to everyone.
